What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a manufacturing process that creates a three-dimensional object by adding layers of material until the object is complete.
3D printing can be accomplished with various materials including compostable plastics, carbon fiber, wood, color-changing materials and glow-in-the-dark filaments.
Above-Us uses a bioplastic made from sugar beets (called PLA), and the printers run off solar power to neutralize a lot of the remaining carbon footprint versus traditional manufacturing.
Above-Us creates 3D name tags, window signs, wall signs, plaques, multirotor parts and personalized desk organizers for locally owned businesses.
See how it’s done.
From spreadsheet calculations to data recovery, Above-Us is always ready to assist their customers with their technical needs.
They can help with specific projects or issues but also offer monthly or annual retainer contracts for businesses wanting local support and infrastructure.
Above-Us is Clarksville’s own multi-faceted robotics and technology-based business with professionally trained and skilled workers.
