FFF 3D printer manufacturer 3DGence has announced the launch of its latest industrial 3D printer.
Characterized by its high-temperature extrusion capabilities, the new INDUSTRY F350 features a maximum nozzle temperature of 500°C and a build volume measuring 340 x 340 x 350mm. The dual extrusion system also comes complete with a heated build chamber, making it compatible with a whole host of high-performance filaments such as PEEK, PC, PA6, and even PA-CF. The company has stated that further materials such as PEKK-CF, PC-CF, and PC-ABS will be made available soon.
With the aim of transitioning from rapid prototyping to rapid end-use production, 3DGence has also placed a major focus on productivity with its latest machine. As such, the F350’s revamped kinematic system delivers print speeds of up to 400mm/s and travel speeds of up to 1000mm/s.
Filip Turzyński, R&D Manager at 3DGence, states, “With the new printer, we streamlined the internal process of material development. 3DGence INDUSTRY F350 was tested on composites, engineering and high-performance polymers. More materials from those segments are going to be added to the portfolio as this is the primary requirement of the market now. We are extremely satisfied with the final speed, accuracy and print quality of our new system.”
Industrial FFF 3D printing with 3DGence
The company’s INDUSTRY 3D printer range has already seen extensive use in sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and medical with over 1000 global installations to date. The flagship INDUSTRY F420 features a build volume measuring 380 x 380 x 420mm and is compatible with a plethora of engineering filaments such as ULTEM, PEEK and PEKK.
For customers on a tighter budget, the INDUSTRY F340 3D printer may be a better choice. Designed for cost-efficient rapid prototyping, the system provides users with a 260 x 300 x 340mm build chamber and bonus functionality such as an in-situ smart material manager and an auto calibration system.
The INDUSTRY F350
The third entry, the INDUSTRY F350, has been designed to be modular, and offers users the choice between three different interchangeable printheads. The modules – M280, M360, and M500 – each enable varying maximum hotend temperatures ranging from 280°C to 500°C. For example, M500 is what you would use to 3D print high-temperature PEEK parts.
3DGence’s latest system also features a magnetic borosilicate glass build plate (160°C) and a fully enclosed, actively heated build chamber (130°C). These additions ultimately aid in avoiding delamination and shrinkage issues, maintaining the high ambient temperatures necessary to 3D print industrial-grade components.
Looking at some of the quality-of-life features on offer, we have an in-built heated filament chamber (50°C), a dedicated printhead purging system, and the option of Wi-Fi connectivity. The new system also integrates with the 3DGence CLOUD for remote monitoring, print management, job queuing, file sharing, and build stat analysis.
